A free visual screen is a vision screening test which includes:

  • The sharpness of distance targets
  • The sharpnes of targets at near

• Binocular vision
• • How well the two eyes work together to provide depth perception
  • How well the ocular muscles work together

• Color vision
• • Screening for any color vision disorders

• Focus status of the eyes
• • Accommodative status of the eyes at rest
  • Accommodative status of the eyes when actively focussing
